The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto de Lara got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antônio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

2-1 became the score in the 53rd minute when Abram Sarmiento elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of PIRATAS TFP booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Antônio Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santino Seco. Antônio Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 74th minute of the match. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. 86 minutes into the match, Pascual Carballar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antônio Borges, 2-2. PIRATAS TFP's Antônio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 91st minute of play. Antônio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 93rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Antônio Borges in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Colombia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented PIRATAS TFP from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
