Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Cristi in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pier Kopacz got free with Thiago Pliego in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 played minutes Doffes Damer got a freekick which was hit by Pier Kopacz. Doffes Damer's Ronaldo Cristi came free and shot a quick shot against goal 14 minutes in the game, fortunately Thiago Pliego had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Utfal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match, Knut Utfal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 19th minute Ronaldo Cristi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Cristi was the one to do the kick off. Orlando Casaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute, Inge Braa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Inge Braa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Braa in the 87th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
