Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Smits in the 17th minute of the match. Ulises Steven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Carballar in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Ulises Steven in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Koolkerke's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Steven came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robertinho Carabajal in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Carabajal came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Semi Acartürk went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semi Acartürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Clóvis Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Joseph Smits tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Robertinho Carabajal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Robertinho Carabajal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 58th minute of play. When Joseph Smits came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the AFC Koolkerke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Smits couldn't finish the play. Chile's Xavier Figueroa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daevy Blaine, made in the 61st minute of the game. Ulises Steven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 0-3 became the score in the 63rd minute when Robertinho Carabajal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 庄剑响's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
