An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Utfal in the 22nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Peru booed when Doffes Damer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Utfal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doffes Damer's Gabriel Fanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 30th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Gabriel Fanström in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Utfal in the 34th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Doffes Damer got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pier Kopacz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Greg Barrera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. In the 39th minute Ronaldo Cristi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luz Tejedor succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 42nd playminute. Gabriel Fanström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 46th minute of the match. After 48 minutes, Eliseo Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peru and the Doffes Damer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eliseo Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Doffes Damer's Pier Kopacz in action when he in the 51st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Kaj Lund hit a great ball. The supporters of Peru booed when Doffes Damer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaj Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 72nd minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Gabriel Fanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Fanström came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gabriel Fanström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 84th minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Gabriel Fanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Julian Murillo in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Inge Braa took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Peru's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
