Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loco Durazno in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Golden Lions FC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 10th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Mats Nyström notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Mats Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, USA's Edward Mcdonald made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Lundqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edward Mcdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Anders Lundqvist made a huge save. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 36th minute of play. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Lions FC's zone, Monty Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Lundqvist came out of the goal and Monty Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Edward Mcdonald reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anders Lundqvist. The goal made the score 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loco Durazno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Diego Bradley. Georg Termander hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Termander to maneuver through the defense. Loco Durazno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 61st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anders Lundqvist was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Cosme Larpe replaced Mats Nyström. The corner was taken by Cosme Larpe in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Larpe. Marco Day was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cosme Larpe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 80 minute of play. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. In the 89th minute of the match Golden Lions FC got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cosme Larpe ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Golden Lions FC's corner Marcelo Steven fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Khalid Parry scored 3-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anders Lundqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
