Sivert Hedbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Rogelio Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Real Pacator CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yosua Diez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogelio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 26th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Hedbom in the 27th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Yosua Diez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. With a little luck, Real Pacator CF's Rogelio Barbosa got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Real Pacator CF's Zhou Cheng Cheng got a free kick in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Real Pacator CF's Rogelio Barbosa. Rogelio Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
