Kubilay Berkkan hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Panama's Abraham Alguacil couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Turkish Academy. In the 13th minute, Ilgaz İslam made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Turkish Academy's zone, Alex Cambeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bircan Kazım came out of the goal and Alex Cambeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilgaz İslam. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd match minute, Turkish Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Kağan Hoyrat to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bircan Kazım saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Kağan Hoyrat hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Isidoro Sarmiento's late challenge caught a Turkish Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Recep Tayyip Suhan in the 30th minute really tested Marcos Cotilla's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bircan Kazım showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 39th minute of the match. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Miguel Miralles fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Miguel Miralles a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Miguel Miralles hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Turkish Academy's Ahmet Haşim Kazakhan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilgaz İslam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Battal Toycan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes, Tomas Berganza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Turkish Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute of the match, Abraham Alguacil got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bircan Kazım was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Abraham Alguacil took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Bircan Kazım to make any attempt to save it. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bircan Kazım having to interfere. Abraham Alguacil in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bircan Kazım, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Haşim Kazakhan in the 73rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bircan Kazım having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Haşim Kazakhan in the 79th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Dylan Sarmiento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Turkish Academy the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute of the match Gökberk Işınay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
