After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Espinar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bircan Kazım breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Ilgaz İslam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilgaz İslam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gökberk Işınay in the 66 minute of the game. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Ilgaz İslam tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gökberk Işınay got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hakkı Onur Karay. Turkish Academy were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Honduras's much stronger midfield.
