Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 李天昂's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 洪斌鹏 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯湖北经管学院's Josué Formas got a free kick in the 29th minute. ≮王者归来≯湖北经管学院's 洪斌鹏 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. 康浩挺 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Simon Milon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ≮王者归来≯湖北经管学院's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Milon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 53rd minute 李天昂 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯湖北经管学院's Ricardo Quaresma got a free kick in the 54th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 李天昂, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 李天昂 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 李天昂 in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 康浩挺 in the 73rd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 李天昂 in the 75th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Simon Milon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 洪斌鹏 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 洪斌鹏 was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ≮王者归来≯湖北经管学院 were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
