Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jordi Paschiers in the 2nd minute. Tran Vrolijcx in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lacasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tomás Baldaia came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ad Fundum:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamiel Ingelborgh saved Ad Fundum from getting behind. Kamiel Ingelborgh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes Ad Fundum's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tran Vrolijcx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Victor Van Lueven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute Jordi Paschiers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordi Paschiers got free with Dante Lacasa in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kamiel Ingelborgh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Ad Fundum's Victor Van Lueven seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Victor Van Lueven the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ad Fundum protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Victor Van Lueven had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Lautaro Mancebo made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Ad Fundum got a freekick which was hit by Jarno Van Dyck. After recieving a nice pass, Mexico's Joel Gaona tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Baldaia in the 61st minute of play. Tran Vrolijcx kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Baldaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kamiel Ingelborgh having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 71st minute of play forced Ad Fundum's goalkeeper Kamiel Ingelborgh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamiel Ingelborgh was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 73 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Cornea came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Joel Gaona managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tomás Baldaia in the 75 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Kamiel Ingelborgh in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Kamiel Ingelborgh made a huge save. Kamiel Ingelborgh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A hard shot 85 in the game by Alberto Tafalla from a close distance when the talented Kamiel Ingelborgh managed to make a qualified save. Ad Fundum's players were relieved. Kamiel Ingelborgh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Ad Fundum booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes Manfred Bruse shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Dante Lacasa when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kamiel Ingelborgh came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 92nd minute. The Ad Fundum fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
