When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Venezuela were furious when Jose Correa was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alba FC:s goal. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Domenico Giocondo:s penalty. Donato Amatori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The long shot by Ciro Cino in the 27th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A hard shot 29 in the game by Donato Amatori from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Ciro Cino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fortunato Carlini fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alba FC's protests and gave Fortunato Carlini a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Alba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Carlini didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Amatori in the 40th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Amatori in the 43rd minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Amatori stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciro Cino kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 54 minutes of play, Alba FC's Donato Amatori made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Di Iorio in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Donato Amatori left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrea Iannotti hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Di Iorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Amatori in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Di Iorio took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Alba FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
