Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Larkins Potter got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Urdaspal saved Wara from getting behind. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Wara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faouzi Louahla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Wara's Larkins Potter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Urdaspal having to make a save. Elias Urdaspal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Larkins Potter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Wara's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cheb El-Hadi in the 19th minute. Larkins Potter was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Elias Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Taha Rami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Wara's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Urdaspal came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced Wara's goalkeeper Elias Urdaspal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Elias Urdaspal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Larkins Potter sent off a good shot on target. Elias Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Wara's Elias Urdaspal got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Urdaspal was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larkins Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larkins Potter in the 62nd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larkins Potter in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Larkins Potter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Elias Urdaspal made a huge save. Larkins Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Primitivo Andino was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cristian Sancho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
