Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cutberto Dorado got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cutberto Dorado, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Cutberto Dorado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16th play minutes Cutberto Dorado shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Polo Merino kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Velasco Ocaña was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Venezuela were furious when Camilo Gaos was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. It was beautiful to see Kivimaki FC's Jose-Enrique Orbiz in action when he in the 35th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cutberto Dorado in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primo Quijana in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Velasco Ocaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Jose Correa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velasco Ocaña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primo Quijana in the 66th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Jose-Enrique Orbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kivimaki FC made a substitution. Fabricio Tarin replaced Gaizka Rallo. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velasco Ocaña having to interfere. Kivimaki FC's Gil Cainzos was substituted for Primo Quijana. In the 77th minute Gaizkine Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kivimaki FC's Alfredo Ledo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cutberto Dorado, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Kivimaki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose-Enrique Orbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cutberto Dorado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Cainzos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kivimaki FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
