If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jānis Blūms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Calçada came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, KINGS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Leal Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KINGS FC's Leal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to KINGS FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Zoltán Tálas hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Leal Simões in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Cássio Calçada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KINGS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, KINGS FC could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
