Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rien Oss in the 13th minute of the match. Baron Buffon made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baron Buffon having to interfere. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rien Oss went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rien Oss in the 33rd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassius Byrne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baron Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baron Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Los Muñes de Don Cuco booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Bradley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baron Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Diego Bradley made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Monty Rogers however managed to control. 43 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Baron Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baron Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Jacob May had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Baron Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 81st minute of the match. Baron Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
