In the 21st minute Raul Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Raul Elequemedo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Pocho FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Calvet came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jozef Antalovič in the 43rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Jozef Antalovič managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jozef Antalovič was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pocho FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Elequemedo was the one to do the kick off. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocho FC the free kick. Raul Elequemedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Justin went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pocho FC's Raul Elequemedo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
