Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Claudio Quiroga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Claudio Quiroga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 1-0. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Apostol Sokolov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apostol Sokolov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Quiroga in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 30th minute of play. Apostol Sokolov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 35th minute of the match. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monitor Huáscar's goalie prevented a goal. Pascual Carballar hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Quiroga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gines Hubieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apostol Sokolov having to make a save. Apostol Sokolov made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the game, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Bernardinho Bala replaced Artemio Varas. When Claudio Quiroga came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Monitor Huáscar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Quiroga couldn't finish the play. Orlando Tafalla made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Santino Seco. After 66 minutes, Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monitor Huáscar and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With 68 minutes on the clock, Marcelo Illanes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Colombia's Kevin Mastache got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Apostol Sokolov. 74 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Apostol Sokolov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostol Sokolov having to interfere. Apostol Sokolov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Claudio Quiroga scored 4-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Claudio Quiroga made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Claudio Quiroga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 89th minute of play. Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 90th minute of play. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
