Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Lesli Sepúlveda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of the match. After 5 minutes Black Panthers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Lesli Sepúlveda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 8th minute of play forced Black Panthers's goalkeeper Lesli Sepúlveda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lesli Sepúlveda came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Black Panthers's Stor Katt got a free kick in the 15th minute. Malte Apelqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Lesli Sepúlveda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Lesli Sepúlveda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Lesli Sepúlveda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Aleksander Kjellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Kjellkvist in the 40th minute of play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Finnman made a kick off. Black Panthers's Lesli Sepúlveda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Black Panthers from getting a goal against them. Lesli Sepúlveda made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lesli Sepúlveda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Finnman in the 68th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Eskilsson in the 73rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Oriche's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Oriche helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Black Panthers got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Oriche. In the 74th minute, Malte Apelqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Black Panthers's Lesli Sepúlveda got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Felix Montenegro put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lesli Sepúlveda. After 92 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. 93 minutes into the match, Black Panthers's Georg Finnman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
