Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudio Quiroga started the match with the kick off. Claudio Quiroga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes in the game Luis Cazalla did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pascual Carballar. 13 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 18 minutes of play, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Apostol Sokolov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Claudio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Quiroga. The supporters of Colombia booed when Monitor Huáscar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazario Arechavala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monitor Huáscar's attentive Gines Hubieta managed to snatch the ball when Orlando Tafalla made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the game, Orlando Tafalla threw the ball into play from the sideline. Monitor Huáscar's Gines Hubieta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Quiroga in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Monitor Huáscar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Modestio Cañucal in the 36th minute. The corner led Monitor Huáscar's Nazario Arechavala to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Claudio Quiroga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Samuel Navarro got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Santino Seco. In the 45th match minute, Monitor Huáscar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazario Arechavala to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Bernardinho Bala replaced Artemio Varas. 60 minutes into the game, Nazario Arechavala threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Pascual Carballar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With his leg Apostol Sokolov managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62nd minute, Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santino Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Apostol Sokolov made a huge save. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Monitor Huáscar's Gines Hubieta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Orlando Tafalla in the 71 minute of the game. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Quiroga in the 72nd minute of play. Ignacio Mastache struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Apostol Sokolov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gines Hubieta went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Apostol Sokolov made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Abram Secada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Apostol Sokolov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Abram Secada notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov. Apostol Sokolov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abram Secada's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Apostol Sokolov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 95 minutes into the match Abram Secada climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Apostol Sokolov. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
