Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Normando in the 3rd minute of the match. Valeriu Dănălache kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Filiberto Normando sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Xacintu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Epifanio Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Normando in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Filiberto Normando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Filiberto Normando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Filiberto Normando in the 36thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 36 played minutes BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Markowski. In the 43rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Normando made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The long shot by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute really tested Epifanio Xacintu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Epifanio Xacintu made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Eddie Van Halen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's Epifanio Xacintu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS from getting a goal against them. Epifanio Xacintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute. Valeriu Dănălache kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Dănălache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Felix Montes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's Epifanio Xacintu did a great save.
