The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klas Kollberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Brutal DeLuxe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Kollberg to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cristian Sancho made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Brutal DeLuxe getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Linus Olsmann hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Brutal DeLuxe's goalkeeper Kevin Kalfhage had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Brutal DeLuxe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christian Andreasson in the 55th minute. The corner ended in Christian Andreasson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After 58 minutes, Olle Jönsson made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Kalfhage prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 minutes of play, Brutal DeLuxe's Olle Jönsson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 89 minutes, Olle Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brutal DeLuxe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Klas Kollberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Brutal DeLuxe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Kollberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brutal DeLuxe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Brutal DeLuxe were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
