Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Alupoaie in the 3rd minute of play. Zé Augusto Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Hilmi Acarer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zé Augusto Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurențiu Bărănescu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 14 minutes into the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 23rd minute Laurențiu Bărănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Augusto Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s goalkeeper Zé Augusto Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Tingelholm kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 31stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Ecuador's keeper Julio Vera was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Zé Augusto Santos came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurențiu Bărănescu got free with Julio Vera in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 42 played minutes Laurențiu Bărănescu rounded Ecuador's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Laurențiu Bărănescu scored 3-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurențiu Bărănescu made a kick off. Zé Augusto Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Alupoaie in the 59th minute of play. Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pompiliu Alupoaie in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s Calistrat Mugur got a free kick in the 67th minute.
