After a rather tough play, Ninjas FK's Black Cold got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ninjas FK were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nils-Emil Finman took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Stor Stad heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Black Cold to make the kick off.
