Brain Veldman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Zalm came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Michael Scott tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Scott got free with Thiago Pliego in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Michael Scott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Carballar charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Carballar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Barry Zalm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flashdynamica's supporters rose to their feet, but Barry Zalm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Zalm in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Scotts short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 51 played minutes Flashdynamica got a freekick which was hit by Dwight Schrute. 53 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Hendrik-Jan Krommert to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hendrik-Jan Krommert made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert made a huge save. Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 77th minute of play. Hendrik-Jan Krommert didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. In the 88th minute, Jochem Ijsselhof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Mariano Lacasa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert didn't even have to move. 91 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Krommert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Scott in the 92nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hendrik-Jan Krommert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 94th minute of play. Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Flashdynamica from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Zalm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
