Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 12th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Espinosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Adapazarı FK booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Germano Espinosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adapazarı FK's Luciano Rodríguez in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Adapazarı FK's Germano Espinosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 34th minute of play. Luciano Rodríguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Luciano Rodríguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Rodríguez to strike the kick off in the second half. Luciano Rodríguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Luciano Rodríguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adapazarı FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Rodríguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germano Espinosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Filippo Inzaghi notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Adapazarı FK's İlbey Revnak suffered a concussion after 84 minutes and had to leave the field. Hugo Ferrant's late challenge caught a Adapazarı FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Ferrant helped the player get up and apologised. Adapazarı FK made a substitution. Ahmet Sedat Tokalp replaced İlbey Revnak. In the 95th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Adapazarı FK had played much better football throughout.
