Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Olo came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejandro Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Alejandro Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Mero. The crowd rose to their feet as Elpidio Mero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Lander during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Primitivo Lander hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute of the match, Adan Ondino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Manzanares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Abram Sarmiento hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Mero to make the kick off. Taavi Noormägi hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s Elpidio Mero. But to his dismay, Elpidio Mero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Alejandro Terciero was a little too slow when Santino Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 3-3. The supporters of Pinocho Pelotari F.C. booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pinocho Pelotari F.C. made a substitution. Maximo Mitxaut replaced Åge Thodesen. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Orlando Tafalla got a free kick in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goalkeeper Alejandro Terciero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 86th minute of play forced Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goalkeeper Alejandro Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abram Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejandro Terciero having to make a save.
