With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Terciero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 12 played minutes, Colombia's Santino Seco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alejandro Terciero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the game, Hector Olo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Hector Olo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s Alejandro Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute of play. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Hector Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejandro Terciero having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Alejandro Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Kevin Mastache got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Alejandro Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joshua Garrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Mero scored 2-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alejandro Terciero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Terciero was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Taavi Noormägi threw the ball into play from the sideline. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro, in the 77th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Pinocho Pelotari F.C. made a substitution. Maximo Mitxaut replaced Åge Thodesen. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. A hard shot 83 in the game by Abram Secada from a close distance when the talented Alejandro Terciero managed to make a qualified save. Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s players were relieved. In the 87th minute, Ignacio Mastache made a precise shot to the right of Alejandro Terciero. Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
