Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Loid Vrints started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otoniel Mondragon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Otoniel Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. Loid Vrints could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loid Vrints in the 15th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Otoniel Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Otoniel Mondragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play forced Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otoniel Mondragon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Otoniel Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 30th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Otoniel Mondragon quite easily take care of the ball. Otoniel Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Kaysersheim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montenegro made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Kaysersheim's Otoniel Mondragon managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 40th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otoniel Mondragon. Kaysersheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loid Vrints, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Kaysersheim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Loid Vrints came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Otoniel Mondragon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Otoniel Mondragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Kaysersheim got a freekick which was hit by Loid Vrints. After 74 minutes Kaysersheim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Kaysersheim's Otoniel Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Otoniel Mondragon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Otoniel Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kaysersheim's Sam-Lucas Mertens got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kaysersheim.
