Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ola Håkansson. 8 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Valter Wallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Woopbongo got a freekick which was hit by Pär Rudqvist. Valter Wallgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Valter Wallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ola Håkansson scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Edgar Albohm tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Woopbongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Gerdberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Valter Wallgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ola Håkansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when Woopbongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Ola Håkansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ola Håkansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The wind increased when Ola Håkansson made the kick off in the second half. Valter Wallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 50th minute of play. Valter Wallgren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 52 minute of play. A collision led to Woopbongo getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. André Törnqvist hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Woopbongo's Valter Wallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valter Wallgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Woopbongo throughout the match.
