Northern California's David Schembri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Schembri saved Northern California from getting behind. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Milagros Fraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Schembri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. But to his dismay, Leandro Chorche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 陆阳默 in the 69th minute of the match. David Schembri made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Schembri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Schembri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 75th minute of play. Peru were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Northern California's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Berganza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Schembri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Peru made a substitution.
