The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Otomar Plíva made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 7th minute Otomar Plíva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Jiří Bobek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Jarmil Bůžek got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of El Salvador booed when SK Slavoj Vyšehrad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiří Bobek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Jiří Bobek. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jarmil Bůžek made a huge save. 24 minutes into the game, Otomar Plíva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Alfons Öberg made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 34 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarmil Bůžek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otomar Plíva in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Alfons Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otomar Plíva in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The El Salvador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad were winning 0-6.

57 minutes into the match, Jiří Bobek notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Otomar Plíva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otomar Plíva, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otomar Plíva. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Otomar Plíva managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's supporters rose to their feet, but Otomar Plíva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Otomar Plíva in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Ricardo Zorita successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Marek Oláh got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-8. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Otomar Plíva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otomar Plíva got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute of the match, Otomar Plíva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Zorita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after El Salvador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Lanc took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Alfons Öberg to score against Ricardo Zorita in El Salvador's goal. 0-10 after 93 minutes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otomar Plíva got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
