Alejandro Terciero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Terciero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Olo in the 10th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Ondino in the 14th minute of play. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Olo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alejandro Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goalkeeper Alejandro Terciero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Edmund Daszkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Alejandro Terciero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s Alejandro Terciero got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 32 played minutes Pinocho Pelotari F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Daszkowski. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Mero in the 48th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When Chile's Mariano Lacasa, in the 52nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Alejandro Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 58th minute of the match. When Elpidio Mero came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Pinocho Pelotari F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Mero couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Pinocho Pelotari F.C. booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Casaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego was a little too slow when Elpidio Mero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-2. Alejandro Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s Alejandro Terciero did a great save. Edmund Daszkowski's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmund Daszkowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Edmund Daszkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Adan Ondino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Terciero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Mero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s Vasiliy Kisurin got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Mariano Lacasa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s Alejandro Terciero didn't even have to move. Guillermo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Pinocho Pelotari F.C. defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Terciero. The Pinocho Pelotari F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Terciero should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pinocho Pelotari F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
