The attack was good, but when Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Rizescu in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Fragmenty Nietoperzy's Avram Rizescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Czeslaw Tyski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 26thth minute of the game Avram Rizescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fragmenty Nietoperzy were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Avram Rizescu took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Han Jan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fragmenty Nietoperzy's Avram Rizescu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fragmenty Nietoperzy's Czeslaw Tyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Czeslaw Tyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Avram Rizescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Czeslaw Tyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 48 played minutes Fragmenty Nietoperzy got a freekick which was hit by Radowit Niewiadomski. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Czeslaw Tyski in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Avram Rizescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Avram Rizescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Rizescu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Fragmenty Nietoperzy got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Rzegotka. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. Czeslaw Tyski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Rizescu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Avram Rizescu who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szczepan Peczkowski in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montes during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Fragmenty Nietoperzy had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
