An unexpectedly hard shot by Lynkeus Plevritis in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot.
