Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Avel Vat's Youri Djorkaeff started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Djorkaeff in the 4th minute of play. Danny Pasquier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Avel Vat booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Youri Djorkaeff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcom Vrignon to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Avel Vat's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Danny Pasquier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Edmond Kubiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmond Kubiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Youri Djorkaeff who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Youri Djorkaeff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Danny Pasquier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Escribano in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danny Pasquier saved Avel Vat from getting behind. In the 33rdth minute of the game Youri Djorkaeff who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Avel Vat getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Geoffrey Estienne hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Kubiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Avel Vat got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Youri Djorkaeff ran over to the corner to take the kick. Avel Vat's Youri Djorkaeff was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edmond Kubiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Pasquier having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Youri Djorkaeff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Avel Vat booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Pasquier having to interfere. Edmond Kubiak hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes, Malcom Vrignon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avel Vat and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Malcom Vrignon hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Bilal Moutte charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bilal Moutte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Avel Vat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilal Moutte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danny Pasquier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the game, Youri Djorkaeff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. During the 93rd minute of the match Malcom Vrignon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Malcom Vrignon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Avel Vat's Malcom Vrignon got a free kick in the 94th minute. Uruguay were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Avel Vat to leave the ground with a draw.
