Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Volio in the 2nd minute of play. CS La Libertad's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mainor Coronado in the 3rd minute. After taking down the ball on CS La Libertad's corner Mainor Coronado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Monge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 9 in the game by Agustin Barrantes from a close distance when the talented Dante Lacasa managed to make a qualified save. Mexico's players were relieved. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Rodrigo Lobo sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute Miguel Volio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Volio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Volio in the 15th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mainor Coronado who took care of the corner kick. 17 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CS La Libertad the free kick. In the 18th minute, Lautaro Mancebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Lobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Ernesto Monge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when CS La Libertad's Rodrigo Lobo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mainor Coronado was slow to take the kick. During this time CS La Libertad's players had a chance to rest. Ernesto Monge came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Volio in the 33rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Ernesto Monge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Miguel Volio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CS La Libertad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 43rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Barrantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustin Barrantes was the one to do the kick off. Reynaldo Esquivel hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Ernesto Monge in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Monge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CS La Libertad's goalie and right to Luca Zorita. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CS La Libertad's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, CS La Libertad's Rodrigo Lobo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 78th minute, Mexico's Luca Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. With his leg Ernesto Monge managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the CS La Libertad defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Monge. The CS La Libertad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Monge should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, CS La Libertad's Rodrigo Lobo got a free kick in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Monge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Volio, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
