Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Antônio Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. After 8 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Jacinto de Lara put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcos Cotilla. In the 34th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. In the 53rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto de Lara in the 54th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Panama's Jose Carita got a free kick in the 57th minute. Antônio Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antônio Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 65th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Jacinto de Lara notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 75 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. When Jacinto de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the PIRATAS TFP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto de Lara couldn't finish the play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara in the 83rd minute of play. Jose Carita got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Miguel Miralles. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Jose Carita with Miguel Miralles as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 87 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. 88 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto de Lara came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Jacinto de Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, PIRATAS TFP's Gilberto Simão got a free kick in the 94th minute. PIRATAS TFP's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
