Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Rien Oss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rien Oss, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Bradley Barrett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Bradley Barrett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Guaberto Jacindo got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Rien Oss sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The supporters of Los Muñes de Don Cuco booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rien Oss struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Muñes de Don Cuco. In the 30th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rien Oss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Rien Oss notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Rien Oss made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rien Oss in the 41st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rien Oss blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rien Oss in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 played minutes, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Everardo Dei shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Muñes de Don Cuco reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Los Muñes de Don Cuco booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Pero's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 61st minute. Bradley Barrett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 65th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. Ramon Pero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Aureliano Cordeiro was substituted for Guaberto Jacindo. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute of the match Los Muñes de Don Cuco got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aureliano Cordeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. 85 minutes into the game, Ramon Pero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramon Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Ramon Pero. But to his dismay, Ramon Pero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. In the 97th minute, Ramon Pero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. When the match was over Los Muñes de Don Cuco could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
