Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Agustin Barrantes started the match with the kick off. Rodrigo Lobo might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Lobo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Barrantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Monge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ernesto Monge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes managed to work through Ecuador's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Agustin Barrantes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Miguel Volio took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 34th minute of the match, Agustin Barrantes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Barrantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ernesto Monge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Barrantes in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ernesto Monge. 1-1. After a rather tough play, CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ernesto Monge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Komanski. Ernesto Monge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Agustin Barrantes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Barrantes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's Mainor Coronado broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to CS La Libertad getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. İbrahim Efe Ergener hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Miguel Volio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CS La Libertad had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
