Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aurelio Mederi kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Mederi. The crowd rose to their feet as Costică Chiriloaie kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. A.C. Milan's Costin Giugiuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 10th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Mederi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aurelio Mederi came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the A.C. Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Mederi couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Chiriloaie in the 16th minute of the match. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costin Giugiuc having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Aurelio Mederi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurelio Mederi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Aurelio Mederi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Mederi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Costin Giugiuc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, A.C. Milan's Aurelio Mederi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 46 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Seco. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Mederi in the 51st minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Giugiuc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when A.C. Milan's Aurelio Mederi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute.
