After 25 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the A.C. Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of A.C. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Mederi in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 minutes of play Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
