Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Anacleto Eutor made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Anacleto Eutor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. In the 17th minute, Baltasar Mikeldi made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Anacleto Eutor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. Baltasar Mikeldi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Gaur came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Yepes. In the 32nd minute of the match Baltasar Mikeldi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Gaur in the 45th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 56th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes, Abram Luque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Los Muñes de Don Cuco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leandro Gaur came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardo Zorita could save by the left post. In the 93rd minute, Braulio Beti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
