Noel Seide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNIVERSITARIO. In the 3rd minute, Saint Jean Pierre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chepe Moran's shot from long distance in the 5th minute was not bad at all, but Haiti's Noel Seide knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 14 minutes into the match, UNIVERSITARIO's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Alphonse came free, but Shantala Mariña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to UNIVERSITARIO getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Xinaro Arriba hit a great ball. The supporters of Haiti booed when UNIVERSITARIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Kruuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sengrat Raigal made in the 26th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Haitz Betoño immediately put the ball in play. Noel Seide was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Honesto Noguerol capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Honesto Noguerol really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, UNIVERSITARIO's Ingvar Kruuse got a free kick in the 35th minute. The throw-in from Xarles Rascon in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Haiti's Felix Dorval. In the 45th minute, Zigor Feruel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Noel Seide. The goal made the score 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haitz Betoño to strike the kick off in the second half. If Haitz Betoño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xarles Rascon's late challenge caught a Haiti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xarles Rascon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UNIVERSITARIO's Xarles Rascon got a free kick in the 54th minute. Jonathan Alphonse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Shantala Mariña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Honesto Noguerol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Haitz Betoño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haiti's Noel Seide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gesner Philippe kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Haitz Betoño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Haitz Betoño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noel Seide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the game Jean Marie Alcius made a throw-in which Ernso Constant played forward. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haitz Betoño, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 79th minute, Jean Marie Alcius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Haitz Betoño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honesto Noguerol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haitz Betoño in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Seide saved Haiti from getting behind. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haitz Betoño in the 90th minute of the match. Xarles Rascon got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 93rd minute, Xarles Rascon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UNIVERSITARIO were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Haiti for a fine match.
