The ball had pretty good speed, but 林志景 firmly grabbed it by the left post. 刘川宽 might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 刘川宽 ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Venezuela booed when 【AC】Black Dragon-酒城2020FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. 周寒珂 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with 林志景 in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孟坚渊 in the 28th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 林志景 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with 林志景 in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 林志景. That made the score 2-2 in the 33 minute of play. In the 40th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time.
