Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Florentino Dominix got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Florentino Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo de Coba's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Dominix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Dominix in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norberto Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Florentino Dominix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomás Pepillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Herminio Nalo made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tomás Pepillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Florentino Dominix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Deportivo de Coba's Tomás Pepillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo de Coba from getting a goal against them. In the 58th match minute, Deportivo de Coba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Giro to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florentino Dominix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. After 74 played minutes Deportivo de Coba got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Mendiko. 82 minutes into the game, Florentino Dominix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo de Coba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Florentino Dominix kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Herminio Nalo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Deportivo de Coba booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Pepillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 93rd minute. The Deportivo de Coba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
