Ionel Bărcăuan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Holmgren in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Bărcăuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, صبئ ئآطئجآ ةآ بئسئ's Shoto Doro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joshua Secada hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Johannes Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Johannes Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shoto Doro was the one to do the kick off. If Fouad Cavalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Johannes Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. صبئ ئآطئجآ ةآ بئسئ made a substitution. Fouad Assad replaced Fouad Cavalli. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abdellah Medjadi Kourichi was slow to take the kick. During this time صبئ ئآطئجآ ةآ بئسئ's players had a chance to rest. After 62 played minutes صبئ ئآطئجآ ةآ بئسئ got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Rasines. After a rather tough play, صبئ ئآطئجآ ةآ بئسئ's Marcos Rasines got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ionel Bărcăuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Tomas Illescas in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shoto Doro in the 93rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fouad Assad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. صبئ ئآطئجآ ةآ بئسئ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
