Magnus Björkqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magnus Björkqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Onsala Ass Kickers's Magnus Björkqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Björkqvist. Viggo Billing hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Wiklund having to interfere. Onsala Ass Kickers's Rickard Wiklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Onsala Ass Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Alcocer came free, but Rickard Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Tasis took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rickard Wiklund. Rickard Wiklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walter Jönsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Rickard Wiklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Rickard Wiklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Puig went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Efrain Moruga made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Onsala Ass Kickers's Jan Björnberg. When Walter Jönsson came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Onsala Ass Kickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Jönsson couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Onsala Ass Kickers getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Börge Backman hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Magnus Björkqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Onsala Ass Kickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magnus Björkqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Onsala Ass Kickers booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Onsala Ass Kickers were awarded a corner. Johannes Målare went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Johannes Målare almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Onsala Ass Kickers were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
