Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ilias Vidalis kicked off to start the match. Charis Sakalakis took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Charis Sakalakis came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Frans saved Atletico de Madrid from getting behind. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Charis Sakalakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. In the 13th match minute, Atletico de Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omiros Simos to maneuver through the defense. Giannis Barbikas charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giannis Barbikas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcelo Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 15th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Giannis Dimitropoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 3-0. After 27 played minutes Atletico de Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Barbikas. Ilias Vidalis hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilias Vidalis came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Cotilla could save by the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Dimitropoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico de Madrid's zone, Alex Cambeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Frans came out of the goal and Alex Cambeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charis Sakalakis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atletico de Madrid's Aadam Aaabel got a free kick in the 60th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Dimitropoulos in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Giannis Dimitropoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 78 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Ilias Vidalis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. After 92 played minutes Atletico de Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Barbikas. In the 94th minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
