Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Emanuel Avellino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Victoria getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Nigel Petroni hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Victoria's Fredrik Hylander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Christian Sancho fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Christian Sancho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Victoria booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Testaferrata Abela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Avellino came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Cauchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Avellino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 minutes of play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Cauchi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fredrik Hylander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Fabian Testaferrata Abela made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Stephan Blanco came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Victoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stephan Blanco couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Victoria's Fabian Testaferrata Abela got a free kick in the 69th minute. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Hylander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Victoria's corner Stephan Blanco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lautaro Navarro quite easily take care of the ball. Tommy Cauchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Testaferrata Abela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Sebastian Villa could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Tommy Cauchi however easily saved by the left post. Emanuel Avellino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Victoria the free kick. After 88 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. In the 89th minute, Stephan Blanco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Honduras's Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move. Tommy Cauchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Christian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
