Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Argoitz in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Renato Portalupi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Argoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kauan de Senna, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Portalupi came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kevin Carballal hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Artemio Argoitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chester Bennington fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renato Portalupi to make the kick off. In the 81st minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Portalupi in the 82nd minute of play.
